Breville machines take a 54mm portafilter, but the basket bore is about 53mm. That's why the funnel in this kit is 54mm (it sits on the rim) and the tamper is 53mm (it goes inside the basket). Both are correct. Ordering a 54mm tamper is the most common mistake Breville owners make, and this kit takes that decision away.

Does not fit the Breville Dual Boiler, Oracle or Oracle Touch, which take 58mm.

Do I need all four? The WDT tool and the tamper do the most work. The funnel and mat make the routine cleaner and faster. Together they cost less than the four bought separately.
Will this fix channeling completely? It fixes the causes you control — clumping, uneven distribution, a crooked tamp. Grind size and beans still matter, and the dial-in guide covers those.
