Short answer: most DeLonghi espresso machines are 51mm — but the portafilter is the one part where 51mm alone isn't enough information.
Tampers, funnels and puck-prep tools are straightforward. Portafilters are not, and that's where DeLonghi owners get caught. Here's the whole picture, including the part we don't stock yet.

If your model isn't listed, measure the inside diameter of your filter basket with a ruler. That number is what you're shopping for.
The Dedica portafilter trap
The Dedica uses a three-ear portafilter. Most 51mm portafilters sold for other machines have two ears, and a two-ear portafilter will not lock into a Dedica group head no matter how right the diameter is.
This is why Dedica-specific portafilter listings say "3 ears" and name EC680 and EC685 directly. If a listing says 51mm but doesn't mention the ear count or your model number, treat that as a missing answer rather than a yes.
Everything else — tampers, funnels, WDT tools, mats — goes in or on the basket and doesn't touch the group head, so ear count is irrelevant for those.
What we stock for 51mm machines
Our DeLonghi range covers the puck-prep side:
- Adjustable depth tamper in 51mm — the collar rests on the rim and stops at the same depth every time
- Magnetic dosing funnel in 51mm — sits on the basket rim so grounds land in the basket
- WDT needle tool — one size, works with any basket
- Tamping mat, knock box, shot glass and barista brush — all size-independent
On a Dedica or Stilosa, the WDT tool is the single biggest improvement per dollar. These machines use a pressurised basket by default, and once you move to an unpressurised one, even distribution stops being optional.
What we don't stock
We don't currently sell a 51mm bottomless portafilter. We sell them in 54mm and 58mm, and we're not going to point you at either one, because neither fits a DeLonghi.

In the meantime, if you want one now, buy it somewhere that names your exact model and ear count in the listing. That's the honest answer.
A note on baskets
If your Dedica still has the pressurised (dual-wall) basket it came with, a bottomless portafilter won't show you much — the pressurising valve masks what the puck is doing, which is the same problem a spouted portafilter has. An unpressurised basket comes first; the portafilter is what lets you see the result.
